This policy describes how we process the personal data of users who consult the quantumdatis.com website (hereinafter, the "Site"), in accordance with the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 ("GDPR") and Legislative Decree 196/2003, as amended by Legislative Decree 101/2018 ("Privacy Code").

Types of data collected

The Site does not have contact forms: any personal data (name, email address, number and any other information contained in the message) are collected only when the user voluntarily decides to contact the Data Controller via email addresses or telephone number published on the Site. Usage data (e.g. IP address, type of of browsers, pages visited) automatically generated while browsing.

Purpose and legal basis of the processing

Personal data are processed for the following purposes:

  • Respond to contact requests and information received through the email addresses or telephone numbers published on the Website – legal basis: execution of pre-contractual measures requested by the data subject (Art. 6.1.b GDPR);
  • Fulfilling legal, accounting and tax obligations – legal basis: obligation legal (Art. 6.1.c GDPR);
  • To ensure the security and proper functioning of the Site – legal basis: legitimate interest of the Data Controller (art. 6.1.f GDPR).

Cookies

The Site does not use its own profiling or analytical cookies. The embedded Google Maps map on the contact page is loaded only after the user's consent, expressed through the banner or the button in the map area. After consent, Google may process personal data (such as your IP address) and use cookies or similar technologies according to their own rules. If you reject, the map is not loaded. The choice is stored in the browser's local storage. The Preferences can be changed at any time via the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer; revocation prevents subsequent uploads, but does not delete any cookies already stored from your browser.

Third-Party Services

The embedded map is provided by Google Maps (Google LLC). The content of the map is requested to Google only after the user's consent; from that moment the processing is also subject to to Google's privacy policy, which can be consulted at policies.google.com/privacy.

Methods of data processing and storage

The data are processed with IT and telematic tools, with logics strictly related to the purposes indicated and, in any case, in such a way as to guarantee their security and confidentiality. The data collected at following an email or telephone contact are kept for the time necessary to process the request and, subsequently, for the period provided for by the applicable legal obligations; the data relating to contractual relationships are kept for the period required by civil law and tax in force.

Communication and transfer of data

Personal data are not subject to dissemination. They may be communicated to third parties who outsource activities on behalf of the Data Controller (e.g. hosting service providers, and IT assistance), appointed, where necessary, data processors pursuant to art. 28 GDPR. Any data transfers to non-EU countries (e.g. in the context of third-party services indicated above) take place only to parties who guarantee a level of protection, including through the adoption of the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.

Rights of the data subject

As a data subject, you have the right to request from the Data Controller, in the cases provided for, access to the your personal data, the rectification or deletion of the same, the limitation of processing, object to the processing, as well as to obtain data portability. You also have the right to propose complaint to a supervisory authority, in Italy the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).
